Inauguration Party on South Whidbey Island

South Whidbey had a Barack Obama inauguration ball on Tuesday January 20th. There were lots of people, speeches, dancing, food, drink, and music. I went with my almost 4 year old daughter and she loved getting to go out with mama for a special party, after her bedtime! Below are some pictures form the night.

Barack Obama's inauguration was projected onto the stage. Also, a beautiful couple hopped on stage at one point and danced much to every one's pleasure!



Marina and I enjoyed the cake.

There were people dressed up in all sorts of ways: the above pictured man had a very festive red, white, and blue suit. The party was decorated with balloons and streamers.
