Summer is here and that means beach time, and lots of it. Some of us mamas got to talking and decided to meet Wednesdays 11 AM or so at Double Bluff Beach. Come when you can. No RSVP necessary. Bring yourself and your kids for a fun relaxing morning and afternoon on the beach, weather permitting. Meet the local parent and child community in a laid back atmosphere. See you there!

Calling all Moms, Dads, Kids: Double Bluff Wednesdays

Who did it? The mysterious disemboweling of the chair cushion
Want to make a guess what happened here? There seems to be a strange disemboweling of a chair cushion. . .
A new puppy? A bad dog? Monster, bear, raccoon, rat . . . ??? No . . .
Answer: A 4 year old with an imagination and a chair cushion with a hole in it. Yep. But it's okay because it took her a good hour and meanwhile I got some chores done. It is these kind of weird trade-offs we parents do in order to sit back and relax, do the dishes, and make dinner.
