I started my blog using a Sony DSC-W55, which is basically a pocket size point-and-shoot, in color pink. It cost me $150, and I bought that particular model because it was the fastest at taking photos in it's price range. And the color? It was the last available camera in the store. I began taking hundreds of pictures every few days.

I took my point-and-shoot everywhere in my purse; its size turned out to be one of its greatest assets. I now have a Cannon Rebel T1i, a small sized digital SLR with a lot more capabilities than my old Sony. I received it on my last birthday (November 2009) and am still learning to utilize all of its features. My point-and-shoot was fun in it's simplicity.

My Cannon Rebel is a wonderful camera to have: fast-shooting, great color and excellent options including video, a must have! I can't fit it in my purse though. Which limits its use a bit. I am often with my kids and I have to decide if I am going to use the camera, as all my 'carrying capabilities' are important when I might have to carry a kid or two!
I have compiled some of some of my favorite pictures in the last two years, all taken by me. Others are buried in my computer's memory, too many to go through at this point. ~~Enjoy~~
